Course Objectives

This certification course enable participants with formal and informal educational background to install, troubleshoot and maintain domestic and smaller commercial solar photovoltaic systems in conformity with the requirements of the Nigerian Competency Standards for Clean Energy with Focus on Domestic and Smaller Commercial Solar Systems.

This intensive solar photovoltaic installation course is implemented using internationally recognized curriculum  developed with funding by the European Union and the Federal Government of Germany through NESP.

Successful participants are qualified to take COREN/NESP certification exam to obtain internationally recognized certificate of competency in Solar Photovoltaic Installation.

4  Weeks Virtual

Requirements

Ability to read and write basic English and solve basic arithmetic

Participants join Ashdam Solar Academy Alumni network for mentorship, on going support after the training and access to industry progressive information. 

Course duration: 4 weeks virtual, 2 weeks physical

Training Fee: N150,000 (Pay N90,000 before 17th January to enjoy 40% Solar Queen Birthday Discount)

Scholarship is available for women through the Solar Queen Program

Optional COREN Solar Photovoltaic Certification Exam Fee: N35,000
